Sports Stadium Telescopic Grandstand Seating System

The venues of stadiums have various uses, and it is particularly important to change the space form at any time according to needs. In response to this situation, the telescopic grandstand seating system came into being.

The telescopic grandstand seating system is composed of seats, pedals, stepped risers, and retractable bottom brackets. It has the characteristics of high flexibility, safety and high value. It occupies a small area when folded, and can accommodate a large number of spectators when unfolded.

The telescopic grandstand seating system is divided into three categories: manual, electric and fully automatic according to the driving form. There are several categories of rear-mounted telescopic grandstand with armrests and flaps, and hollow benches. In terms of safety, product safety is ensured through product appearance design and safety structure design.

1. Appearance Design

a. Skeleton Structure

The skeleton adopts the structure of alloy steel assembly, the thickness of all load-bearing components is ≥2mm, and the bearing beam adopts the “S” shape design, which effectively integrates the beam, the plank and the front, and enhances the stability of the telescopic grandstand.

b. Pedals & Frontiers

The pedals are made of 17mm thick high-strength laminate and 1mm thick melamine wear-resistant and waterproof plywood; the front edge is edged with 80×80 special aluminum-titanium alloy, and special anti-skid lines are attached on the surface of the profile to strengthen the friction force to prevent the audience from slipping when walking, increase product safety factor.

c. Safety Guardrail

The safety guardrail of the telescopic grandstand is made of φ32 and φ20 steel round tubes. After assembly and welding, the surface spraying color is the same as that of the movable stand. The minimum effective distance between the adjacent bars of the guardrail is not more than 110mm, to prevent the user from pinching the head, and the guardrail does not need to be pulled or inserted during the expansion and contraction process.

2. Safety Structure Design

a. Automatic Locking Device

When the telescopic grandstand is deployed and used, the locking row device automatically locks the telescopic structure of the grandstand to prevent accidental movement and expansion.

b. Carrying Moving Wheels

The moving wheels all use PP soft rubber surface wheels, the diameter is Φ125mm, the spokes are 40mm, the inner layer adopts double ball bearings, the middle is a nylon layer, and then covered with a high-toughness wear-resistant polyurethane layer, which can withstand huge forces and is suitable for various materials on the site. No damage will be done to the ground.

c. Continuation of Positive Bottom Rail

Each driving device is connected by a steel shaft, and the grandstand support structure adopts a mechanical feedback synchronous telescopic device to ensure that the extension and retraction are synchronized, and there is no directional deviation. The feet of the grandstand wheel are made of fixed-pull profiles, and the guide chute is designed to ensure a balanced linear motion during telescoping and braking, and the motion is noise-free.

d. Intelligent Power Distribution Design

The safety performance of the distribution box meets the EU CE certification requirements and has obtained the CE certification; the self-developed intelligent microcomputer control system can flexibly control the number of layers according to the grandstand usage situation, and the operation is simple and convenient, just press the corresponding layer button.

3. Processing Technology

a. Product Quality and Material Selection

In order to ensure product quality and accuracy in material selection, ensure that all iron parts such as pipes and plates are free of rust, precision parts are cut by laser, and shafts and sleeves are processed and formed by CNC lathes.

b. Surface Treatment

Welding is done by robotic welding.

For the surface treatment of the equipment, the surface of all steel parts has been subjected to primary treatment such as pickling and phosphating, and the final surface treatment is completed by electrostatic epoxy powder spraying on the automatic spraying line. The coating thickness is ≥150um, and the pencil hardness is 3H+. The product has passed the GB/T1771-91 36-hour salt spray test: the coating film has no change, and the single-sided corrosion at the cross-cut area is less than 2mm.

The product has the advantages of acid and alkali resistance, humidity resistance, aging resistance, beautiful appearance, etc. It can be suitable for humid and acid rain environments, and the product coating formula does not contain toxic elements to avoid damage to the health of users.
